Nightwish ist eine finnische Symphonic-Metal-Band, die 1996 gegründet wurde. Die Band besteht aus Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, Marco Hietala, Kai Hahto und Anette Olzon. Bekannt für ihre epischen und orchestralen Metal-Sounds, hat Nightwish Hits wie „Nemo“ und „Wish I Had an Angel“ veröffentlicht. Ihre Musik kombiniert Metal-Elemente mit symphonischen und klassischen Einflüssen und zeichnet sich durch komplexe Arrangements und tiefgründige Texte aus.
