“My Second Album” (Chelsea Recording) Songtext

“My Second Album” (Chelsea Recording) Songtext
The reason I did it, I was getting an idea for my second album
I know how it should go, part of it
If I put Little Green for the birth, for the first song
And the second one would be Circle Game
Which takes you up from birth, you know, through 20 years
And then Jeremy, which is, you know, the drugs
Which is also one point of view, and I have an opposite point of view
That′s called Cara's Castle, that I could possibly use there too
And then Jeremy, and I′ve got a new one called And So Once Again
And that's about the war
It's sort of a peace song, I played that song last night
And so we′ve got the war, we′ve got, you know
Chugging out of my throat, we've got drugs, we′ve got
Sorry
Well, this is a good one
You don't usually do, put this on the side of the peace song
Oh, but there are other things too, what are the other songs?
Oh, yeah, that′s the way it is, you know
You just see what you want to see, the way it is
And I've got another one called I Think I Understand Fears Like A Wilderland
It′s just sort of all discovery
It's all thinking about all sorts of things
Oh, what else? Both sides now
Rose is Blue, that's certainly a facet of our times
So, instead of being such a personal album
This is nearly as personal an album as the last one, you know
It′s really personal
Guys, this is your life
It′s a really horrible life
That's one reason I don′t like it, man
I just suddenly don't want all those things to go out to so many people
Because before, I′ve only been playing for a small circle of friends
It was so intimate, it was like something I wanted to share with those people
Now everybody's like, that′s really a lot of people
It's great to communicate to that many people
I know how it should go, part of it
If I put Little Green for the birth, for the first song
And the second one would be Circle Game
