Intro to Sisotowbell Lane Songtext

Intro to Sisotowbell Lane Songtext

Just a minute now while I switch from North Carolina tuning to
Uhm, "California, here I come standard"
It′s terribly unpatriotic, I know of a Canadian to stand here and sing all these
Songs, and in American named tunings and things
But, uhm, the truth of the matter is that, ah, I just sort of wonder around
And talk all about Canada while I am in every place that I am
So I'm sort of an ambassador, I do my little bit for-, for centennial that
And I tell them about the Monterosso′s statue and most unmilitary matching band
And cat river

When I was in California, I discovered that my repertoire had one great, big fat hole in it
I had no kitchen songs, you know, and that is very important
Because in most of the homes that-, that I went into, uhm, the kitchen
Was, was where you went, you went and you didn't sit in the rampers room
And we're living when you sat in the kitchen because
Well, there′s been a revisal of the domestic arts
And there are women out there making whole wheat home made bread
And all sort of good things so there′s a reason why you spend all the time in the kitchen

This is my first kitchen song, it's called "Sisotowbell Lane"
