Decorations through the town
Silver snowflakes shimmer down, choirs sing
But does it feel like Christmas

As the years slip by
Can my soul still fly


Have I told the friends I love
They're the ones I'm thinking of
Simple joys that make it feel like Christmas

Are my words sincere?
Is my conscience clear?
Must I always stand in judgment of this world?
Can I just be still, remembering what peace is

Could I spread some perfect light
Like the baby born that night
May I give a greater gift at Christmas
