Atari - (Nai Palm) Commentary Songtext
Atari I wrote purely as a celebration of the console, uh
Again, Atari went bankrupt and, so when I found that out it was kind of like
It was such an integral part of my childhood ′cause I grew up with four brothers and just, uhm
The sense of wonder that I feel like
Like I'm not a big gamer or anything but I think there′s something really amazing about the interaction of it
Of creating magical worlds where you're interacting with it directly
And I think that's really, really cool
So yeah, it′s an appreciation for that
Vocally, I was listening to a lot of Les Baxter who′s, like, an exotica composer
Lots of, like, magical waves of vocal harmonies and stuff, so
There's definitely a Les Baxter element in the BV arrangement of this song
