Oliver Twisted is a boy that I know from
He makes his fun by going around
The girl that I loved made Oliver slow tonight
He won her heart with the things that he buys and sells
He gave her love that was made up of diamonds and pearls
He said he loved her and promised the rest of the world
I said it once, then I smiled as an ordinary guy
I thought her girl and I told her and then I ask her
Why did she love him?

She let me know
The reason that she loved him so
Was not that she cared much about him
But that she can′t think where she'd be without him!


He made her Queen and the ruler of all she′s serving
Then he ran off to continue the games that he played
And Oliver's Queen had a (?)
Off to Zero

Then on one bright Summer's morning
The beautiful girl started yawning
And it happened that very same day
His material things vanished away

Oliver′s Queen had a heart filled with nothing but sand
So I came along and I lead her off my love
I got her now and we′re doing the best that we can
Our little world is bigger but I know
She understands
