LA misty morning
With magnolias in the air
Gets my mind remembering
When I first saw her there

Flaming red hair flying
As her green eyes pulled me in
Now every time I close my eyes
I go back there again, back again

The summer sun was overhead
My mind and time they froze
I was high she was followed by
A murder of black crows

Her dress fell off her shoulder
Fell to the ground in folds
I didn′t think a dream could touch me
Now it's stealing away my soul


When that low country′s boiling
Out on Black Water lake
She'll be slipping and a sliding
All up through the break

She's sweeter than honey
Any honey bee could taste
She′s a dangerous attraction

You wanna count your blessings
When she looks you in the eye
You know you′re going down
When she comes to get you high

Be careful what you wanted
Even careful what you think
She could hypnotize the devil
Strike at half a body length
