As leaders of vermin exploit it to soothe their fragile minds

Graves fill by the thousands, our well-being in distress
Empathy becomes secondary to the self-absorbed disease
A soul heaves with nothing to give, emptiness a plague

Like roots begging for water that never comes, our emotions toxic
