Subtle Sacrifice Songtext
A sacrifice I′m making with you,
But a bigger one without.
Rely on time to push us forward,
Letting go and thrusting out.
Never forfeit in frustration my responsibility.
The potter's hand although refreshing,
Is a painful place to be.
Stand tall, never believe you are going to be like this. Jesus make her rise above it,
Rise above.
If only I could see much broader,
Beyond the scope of my own flesh,
I could see your glory wadding throughout the storm.
And it keeps me bent all backwards on this pedestal of grace.
I′ll always curse you in the morning,
But I greet you in the day.
But a bigger one without.
Rely on time to push us forward,
Letting go and thrusting out.
Never forfeit in frustration my responsibility.
The potter's hand although refreshing,
Is a painful place to be.
Stand tall, never believe you are going to be like this. Jesus make her rise above it,
Rise above.
If only I could see much broader,
Beyond the scope of my own flesh,
I could see your glory wadding throughout the storm.
And it keeps me bent all backwards on this pedestal of grace.
I′ll always curse you in the morning,
But I greet you in the day.
