Last night I had the strangest dream
I met the boy who raped you
I wanted to be turned black and blue
But both my arms were stuck


And then I met you
I hadn′t seen you in years
But in my dream I met you
And I found you in tears

I couldn't tell if your tears were from crying or from laughing
I didn′t have the courage or dignity to ask
I didn't know whether to comfort you or laugh along
I hesitated for a short while and then I ran away
