Staring into the illusive bright
Source-less, emitted through darkened clouds
Hypnotising the submissive crowds

Bound to the sky
The all-seeing eye
Came forth as clouds in the dust at night
In the pillars of light


Gazing into their collective mind
Discovering which traits them define
This species is not yet ready to know
Their evolutionary stage is too low

Examining man′s self-destructive nature
Conflict, pain and delusions of grandeur
An invasive and cancerous breed
Spreading with alarming speed
Leaving them in ignorance
Of the secrets of the cosmos
In fear of what they could become
An intergalactic tormentor
