It can be ecstasy
Spreading with all honesty
To another grace
The sun will rise deep inside
The wind will blow away the pride
Without a trace
A flower is blossoming
My inner self is promising
It radiates
Is it really a surprise
The disillusion in your eyes
It dissipates

Darkness that once clouded me is all gone

A ray of hopefulness is awakening
Such need that I had never felt is all I see

Broken free from such a morbid cage
Ascend to a more glorious day
A view more clearer of the stage
Exhale a breath of life only I can see
Breathe in light of pure harmony
Contemplate past conformity


Then I felt an undertow
It wasn′t just an easy flow
It pulled me down
It was such a hostile force
Trying to stray me from my course
I was to drown
I fought back against the crunch
It hit me with a sucker punch
To devastate
I had nothing left to lose
Moving with that I would choose
To elevate
