Embers burn low, the flame of trust extinguished.
I strain my eyes to regain a glimpse of what I once knew.
Can it be saved?
I watched you fall away, at first just a step at a time.
But with every move you made, I felt the onset of a growing divide.
So now, I stand alone.
Searching for the strength inside to open my Mouth and bare my soul without choking on my words.
What can I say?
I know I hold the key to reignite the spark.
As I close my eyes, I can only keep dreaming.
