At the Moment Songtext
von Nadeah Miranda

At the Moment Songtext

While living out the boot of my hire car
I drove across the ocean of a charcoaled heart
Freefalling from the edge of a bottle of 10ml nitrazepam pills
Guess I misplaced my taste for survival skills

Sat thinking ′bout the ways of suicide
And how lovely it would be to take that ride
Right here with a bottle of wine and that pack of nitrazepam pills
Till I saw my messiah rolling down the hills

And then he
Was telling me that our love
Was something from above
And something I could
Hardly see
A love not by space or time
A love that was divine
A love that I could hold and keep

Hey Girl would care to rescue me?
I said, 'I′m kinda busy can't you see?'
Well what about tomorrow maybe we could have us a breakfast for three?
He seemed kinda strange and yet I just agreed

And then he
Was telling me that our love
Was something from above
And something I could
Hardly see
A love not held by space or time
A love that was divine
A love that I could hold and keep

And so I decided to give love a try
But I didn′t even get one night of teenage kicking highs
Instead I got the laptop, the car and that pack of nitrazepam pills
Stolen by a pseudo-punk-messiah rolling down them hills
