I was left alone again
You kept me awake
As I couldn′t understand

The way she had to part with him
He's such a decent man


I would′ve appreciated a call
We could talk about it all
I've got some problems of my own
Then I thought about the girl
How she thought about the world
If she found it bigger than a shell

Even though the club was safe (?)
Placed neatly upon her shell
I think my aim is to understand
What really makes man
And if it's fair to say "i am"
And if it′s safe to say "I care"
Should I invite him over here
Just be silently aware.
