In The Sun Songtext

In The Sun Songtext
In the sun we try to forget about it
We raise our hands and laugh into the sky
First bus coming for us
It′s cutting through the streets between the cars
Wooden box, wooden boat
On my desk a handwritten note of dreams, desires
Don't look down, there′s moss on the ground
And over the lake a little stone bridge caked in mud
Do you remember the way we used to feel
Before being crushed by the weight
By the choice
In the sun we try to forget about it
We raise our hands and laugh into the sky
This big world
A bright white pearl
Drifting through and up into the cosmos, all over us
A bale of hay, a broken bike
Summer's here but I can tell it's passing, leaving
A thousand kind of hidden lives
Tucked into the seams of our beds, we rest our heads
A house burned down to the ground
We all walked past and barely said a thing
We didn′t look
We raise our hands and laugh into the sky
First bus coming for us
It′s cutting through the streets between the cars
Wooden box, wooden boat
On my desk a handwritten note of dreams, desires
Don't look down, there′s moss on the ground
And over the lake a little stone bridge caked in mud
Do you remember the way we used to feel
Before being crushed by the weight
By the choice
In the sun we try to forget about it
We raise our hands and laugh into the sky
This big world
A bright white pearl
Drifting through and up into the cosmos, all over us
A bale of hay, a broken bike
Summer's here but I can tell it's passing, leaving
A thousand kind of hidden lives
Tucked into the seams of our beds, we rest our heads
A house burned down to the ground
We all walked past and barely said a thing
We didn′t look
