Those old familiar carols play
And wild and sweet
The words repeat

And I thought how
As the day had come
The belfries of all Christendom
Would roll along

I shook my head
"There′s no peace on earth" I said
Hate is strong
And it mocks the song

More loud and deep
God not dead

The wrong shall fail
