Why I was livin' it up at the first of the month
Did I really need another jacket?
Only wore it once and then I lost it

So I′m mad, can't even pay for gas
Now my mom has made me feel bad, and I really feel bad
Once again, I'm in financial crisis
My resolution should be how to budget ′cause

I′m so broke
This time of the year
Can't afford
To buy underwear


Wish I didn′t spend it in June
'Cause now I have no money for you
Don′t even send me your wish list
'Cause I′m way too broke for Christmas this year

It sucks when you don't have enough
To make the day special or even get essentials
There ain't nothin′ I can do this moment
My dad is hopin′ that I'll learn my lesson

I keep on makin′ excuses
But everyone knows it's useless
I might as well admit that

I′m so broke
