Orchard Plains Songtext

Orchard Plains Songtext
There were yellow sands and silver shells
Woven silk and rusted bells
Orchards spread over the plains
And even though I knew her name
I found myself in a wild garden
Ivy tied to hold me calmer
Genie eyes green like stems
And flesh carved like rich rare stone gems
She falsely cared
Not that I knew
The garden grows
As truth do bloom
A breath of spring
A voice like autumn
Silence now the insects calling
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
Corrupt my hands
My feet
My lips
Bury by bones in Indian pits
I′d followed the stones I thought you'd leave
Your heels exhaust was all I breathed
How I let you run barefoot from me
If I′d seen the prints before the breeze
Had swept them from my closing eye
I'd gaze at you and not the sky
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
Woven silk and rusted bells
Orchards spread over the plains
And even though I knew her name
I found myself in a wild garden
Ivy tied to hold me calmer
Genie eyes green like stems
And flesh carved like rich rare stone gems
She falsely cared
Not that I knew
The garden grows
As truth do bloom
A breath of spring
A voice like autumn
Silence now the insects calling
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
Corrupt my hands
My feet
My lips
Bury by bones in Indian pits
I′d followed the stones I thought you'd leave
Your heels exhaust was all I breathed
How I let you run barefoot from me
If I′d seen the prints before the breeze
Had swept them from my closing eye
I'd gaze at you and not the sky
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
One step away but I stepped the wrong way
