Is all we have to shine
Within this hollow home

We open wide
Our gaze toward the skies
An endless road to roam

Questioning the reason to help us grow
Philosophising answers that we can′t know
Expectation trembles before the whole


In trepid flight
An interstellar climb
Going it alone

Yet what we'll find
When innocence expires
A certainty unknown

Searching ever onward, a trail long cold
The weight of all creation exacts its toll
Universal ignorance, the status quo

Burdened wisdom
To bear such loaded intention
Assuming collective reason is an answer and not a symptom
A symptom of a problem, of a nightmare, of a dystopian ruin
