Saw three people on a journey
Hopin to find their identity
One was impatient
One was nervous
One had to be what one was told he should be

Sometimes the fast lane isn′t so easy they say the fast lane isn't
so quick desperation turns logic to ruin remember your common sense

Number two had an attitude
He was bad crude and lude
Two told 3 that he was better than 1
2 overdosed on his ego and now two is none


Sometimes extremes are what′s better they say less is more you
can't see what's going on around you
when you′re busy staring at yourself

Looking in the mirror do others see me as I am
Is this life we′re living going according to some kind of plan
Reflection in the mirror can you tell me who I really am you just
show what I already know just my outer skin when the questions are
over that's when the journey ends one track minds stand still in time
Experience the best teacher anyone could
have each lesson shaping who we are changing I am

Then there was 3
Had to let things be what ever they would be
Pride and arrogance kept within reach
Now three realized that identity came from
experiencing his life and that is something you can buy
Now isn′t and three like you and me
