When you looked at me, I saw a sadness in your eyes
It gave me a feeling that was all too familiar
It felt like a wailing scream deep within the heart
Something I knew would have to be helped sooner than later
And as the fog rolls in
I knew the cold would sink in

The sun fell below the horizon
Soon the pale moon showed it′s worn down face
Then when the moonlight cast upon your skin, I saw the real you
And as the fog rolls in, the cold sinks in


You looked at me and I saw the desperation in your expression
Knowing the feeling, I took action to move away from the pain
So I took your hand, with the intent to heal
We'll figure this out together
And holding each other′s hands, we'll make it through this

The moon fell below the horizon, no sun rising, no light to be shed
And when the darkness engulfed your face, I couldn't see the real you
And as the fog thickens, the cold sinks in

Here, our hearts will bind together
As long as we keep up our hopes for today

As long as we run blindly through the fog
