After highschool I headed up north somewhere to go find my degree
Started playin′ guitar down at music row in Nashville, Tennessee
Then I got to thinkin bout my little small town where there were so many big dreams
I started feelin' lonely and miles from home so I go to my remedy

Maybe Brooks and Dunn with "Red Dirt Road"
Country music finds my home even though I′m in Tennessee

Look around the world and see all the bad news on TV
Then I flip to CMT, that′s all I need
