In the beginning of the time
Between the highest peaks
Three streams grew up
Like siblings, like kids

Sava, Drau and Sonting were nothing but water
They all longed for reaching the greatness of the sea

"Straight into the sea′s arm you will run,
Straight between the bushes and the stones"
This was the Mother Nature's deal
"At dawn you′ll start, when sun reveals"


Drau and Sava had digging tools,
Flooding, they moved through,
Blending right in the moon light
Meanwhile their brother
Was waiting for the sun:
The morning after
They were miles ahead

"Straight into the morning light I run
(But I can't see them)
Straight to chase my sisters in the wind
(But they're cheating on me)
Although the magic shoes I wear
They′re not enough to draw my way"

Shining blue and pearls, already noon
The voice of mother nature spoke in tune
"Stretch, widen slide to the sea,
