Decisions; a pending chore

A scorching sun setting the scene
A cunning moon making waves of sand
A dune in constant change
I′m a passenger on a voyage
On rails set up in circles
Longing for the shade under the dune


I'm used to velvety blossoms
A meadow of abundance
Caressing me, lulling me to sleep
But these blossoms have been given a most bitter end
An infusion turning black in the deep

Astringent sensations
Bite off my tongue
The ambitious extraction
Provokes a repellent reaction
I would have preferred to just be idle
