I miss those empty promises
The freeway lines
To guide Electra home
Her head sublime
The California time
That kept me hoping for

Then I lived in the house
Far away from the room
But all I could think of
Was Eleganza & wines

Now I have a new room
And the shops have all closed
But the hand painted sign still says
