Must be the worse there's ever been
I′m the sanest lunatic
This asylum's ever seen

I'm not losing my mind
But there′s times when I just scream
I′m the patient, I'm the doctor
And I′m somewhere between


Well I'm losing where I′m winning
Cause I'm scared I′ll lose it all
And I'll take a running leap
If my faith could take the fall

I think the world is full of hope
I see it's beauty all around
And it′s all an ugly joke
And we are all it′s clowns

I wore a Jesus crucifix
Ever since I was a kid
And I followed every -ism
But none of them quite fit


You could say I'm out of faith
You could say I′m watered down
But nobody's an athiest
When they′re about to drown
