The morning sun is beating down
Bits of light are kissing my skin
Tomorrow I′ll be leaving town
I guess it's finally sinking in

For so long I have set aside
The things I love the most
You made me swim against the tide
So I got pulled back by the river

And of all the fears that I had grown
An earthquake shook the ground
When I released them
Then I turned 'em into stone
I even burned some memories of you
