The summer sun doesn′t shine as bright as it used to shine
But its warming rays make me love the days while you're still mine
The last sweet moments of summer aren′t quite over yet
But what bothers me is I hate to see that summer sunset

And the grass begins to die
I'll look for your love but it won′t be found
′Cause September means goodbye

And make memories for those lonely days when you're not around
