Life in New Zealand is pleasant enough
When we turn twenty two it′s not violent enough
We want fast pace and fast trains and much bigger clubs
We want money and kudos and much stronger drugs
We skimp, we save, we go overseas
We pimp, we slave so we get what we need


When we get there we try very hard to believe
That it's better
When we go overseas to a much bigger place
We′re still doing the same things, but not with much space

On the subways and airplanes there's no friendly faces
We're working so hard that the history is wasted
