Edgar Songtext

Edgar Songtext
Oh, the fishermen are sailing in Nevada
And Howard Hughes had done it once again
The volcanoes in Alaska were depressing in L.A.
And what was left of San Francisco slid into the bay
I left them rolling up their sails in San Diego
And smoking all the fish that they could find
They are moving to Las Vegas
And they would come further East
Except the Great Lake waters have just been released
And it's flooding all the homes in Indiana
And the only ground for sale is down below
You can start your life all over in New Zealand or Japan
Or stay exactly where you are
And do the best you can
Edgar, did you ever, really feel the California slide
And Howard Hughes had done it once again
The volcanoes in Alaska were depressing in L.A.
And what was left of San Francisco slid into the bay
I left them rolling up their sails in San Diego
And smoking all the fish that they could find
They are moving to Las Vegas
And they would come further East
Except the Great Lake waters have just been released
And it's flooding all the homes in Indiana
And the only ground for sale is down below
You can start your life all over in New Zealand or Japan
Or stay exactly where you are
And do the best you can
Edgar, did you ever, really feel the California slide
