Children of the Sounds Songtext

Children of the Sounds Songtext

Notes just fade away
And vanish in the air
Hiding in the moss
They're just waiting for some new adventure

We walk our lonely paths
Through the fern and through the grass
Over meadows in the sun
Over mountains almost reaching the sky
We're children of the sounds
In a sonic universe
We are daughters and we are sons
We're descendants of the sound cloud

Out of the aged
We're building something new
We are messengers of sounds from our hearts
We are universal soldiers of art
The songbirds sing our songs
From the paths of our souls
Through the raving azure blossoming
Like in a long forgotten world
A chorus from the guardians of light
That fades away into the night

Children of the sounds
In an ethereal universe
We are daughters we are sons
We're descendants of the sound cloud

We find some hidden notes
And we mould them in our hearts
We build and reconstruct
And we paint them all with colours from stars in our eyes
High above our lives
Painting all our dreams
They are colouring our days
And they flourish through our long nights

We're watchers of the skies
Graze a gentle sonic rain
A transcendent sonic trip
A revolution out of nowhere or somewhere somehow

Out of the aged
We're building something new
We're messengers of sounds from our hearts
We are universal soldiers of art
The songbirds sing our songs
From the paths of our souls
Through the raving azure blossoming
Like in a long forgotten world
A chorus from the guardians of light
That fades away into the night

Children of the sounds

Children of
Children of
We're children of the sounds
In an ethereal universe

We're descendants of the sound cloud
Children of the sounds
In a sonic universe
In a sonic universe

A chorus from the guardians of light
