Molecule Songtext

Molecule Songtext
One of the few minor benefits to the quieter side of things
I woke in the morning, without any warning,
Had simply forgotten what it was like.
This isn′t a joke, man. I'm as thin as smoke, man
And I can pass through anyone,
And as far as I can tell I can′t affect them.
It's just the same as it ever was.
Hitched a ride, and as you passed by
I laid face down to the floor.
Will you pass by again?
And so I stole a couple things for fun,
But in a few years, I'm a stranger to anyone.
Even in my own eyes, even back in Shanghai.
Caught a glimpse, but it′s gone again.
This isn′t a joke man. I'm as thin as smoke, man,
And I can pass through anyone,
And as far as I can tell I can′t affect them.
It's just the same as it ever was.
Why won′t the light bounce off of my little molecule, like it did only yesterday?
