But we weren′t allowed to go outside due to the quarantine
And I knew I was having to go back to The Netherlands soon
And I also knew I was really going to miss my boyfriend
He had to stay in L.A. for a bit longer
And with that on our minds, 'Sleeping On The Phone′ was born


A song that we both turned to for comfort
Through time difference and through the hours of loneliness and
We know we would miss each other, of course
And we would miss each other a lot
But we had this song to listen to
And with all we wanted to say to each other in its lyrics

And it's also the very first song we ever wrote together
