Under the Sea Songtext

Behind the window of an old old House
Everything is white and dim
I′m surounded by Water Blue
I'm a Ghost and i can′t swim

Everything up there is movin' so fast
I got sick of all the Motion
Oh, it feels like i was too old for this Storm,
Now im lost down in the Ocean.

The Day when the Rain came over the Hills
Like the Dawn of the darkest night
But no one told me that from now on
I would never see the Sun shine

And when the old Church steeple came tumbling down
There was nothing left to Hope for
Oh, i cried like a child
Cuz no Grandchildren would be baptised

Yeah no more

. . .

I sent a Message in a Bottle up there
Hoping they would find my words
But i can still see it from here
Spinning round like a drowning Bird

All back in the Days when the world was still small
We had a God under the Trees
Sometimes i see a branch or a chair floating by
Like old Memoires

Oh, can you believe how my life was then
I had a Wife and a little Daughter
Oh, it feels like it was only yesterday
When they were washed away by the water

Oh hey hey hey
Take it far away from here
Somewhere i can stay the same
Even when the Rains are coming near

Oh hey hey hey
Take it to a different time
Where i would never loose my way
Even when the lights don't shine

When the lights don′t shine

. . .

If there′s no one to remember, how it used to be
My life is like a song without a melody

Is there anybody who wants to sing with me
Im still down here under the sea

For some people, just call it history
But the world is spinning way too fast for me

If there's anybody who wants to sing with me
Come and find me under the sea

And hey hey hey
Take me far away from here
Somewhere i can stay the same
Even when the Rains are coming near

Oh hey hey hey
Take me to a different time
Where i would never loose my way
Even when the lights don′t shine
