My Way (Doin' It) Songtext

My Way (Doin' It) Songtext
And now, the end is near,
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I′ll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I′m certain.
I've lived a life that's full -
I′ve travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Regrets? I′ve had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
I've loved, I′ve laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
And so I face the final curtain.
My friends, I′ll say it clear;
I'll state my case of which I′m certain.
I've lived a life that's full -
I′ve travelled each and every highway.
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
Regrets? I′ve had a few,
But then again, too few to mention.
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption.
I planned each charted course -
Each careful step along the byway,
And more, much more than this,
I did it my way.
I've loved, I′ve laughed and cried,
I've had my fill - my share of losing.
But now, as tears subside,
I find it all so amusing.
To think I did all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way -
