Two wild and weary, slumber
What dreams will come
All night like galloping thunder
Night horses on the run

And I′ve walked that Northern highway
In the Autumn rain
Good things are gonna come my way
Blues skies coming back again


All through that Michigan forest
Fell beating rhyme
My voice, a lonesome chorus
Two feet in meter time

I saw that rolling river
So cold and wide
So I will be delivered
Departed for the Northern side


And in that Jordan valley
Sleep sound and tight
Sweet one don't feel so badly
I′ll dream of you tonight
