It′s been a while since I've seen sky
Been underground, guess that′s my life
But I remember basking in the warmth

Before the cold slowed down the pace
He took all of my friends away
Now I'm in the dark again
Until the seasons change

It's been so long since I′ve seen sun
Tried counting days, but gave it up
I′ll keep waiting 'til the clouds are gone

Nature′s rhythm can't be changed
I′ll have to pass the time away

I wonder what day it is
I wouldn't know
I wonder if it′s warm up there
I still care


Time is gone, but I'm still here
Nearly forgot how fresh air feels
But I remember standing in the light

Before the cold took in my place
