Five dragon plushies hold council in my bedroom
Arylyde presides over the meeting
They ask about their numbers
And the great purple dragon Sylvya responds sagely


Zovi, as a fellow dragon, has discerning taste
And she would rather elegance than a scowling face
And that is but one facet of how she will select
The next dragon of great importance that she will collect

Meanwhile, the caterpillars grow in number
But they are best in excess
While the dragons each are centers of their own universes
And command respect
And deserve that respect
And I will promise that respect
And that is why my bedroom is not completely filled with plush dragons
