I have always known of her
But never really got to be with her

Trying to decide between the lines of stranger and friend
I find myself looking for the latter

Just when I′ve found the girl of my dreams
I like her, and she likes me
Just when I've found the love of my life
She gets washed back into the sea


Being put together by chance
And what you call chemistry
Won′t always change anything
If you're not the only one she sees

I still find myself looking for the latter

When I finally realize my mistake, you know what she tells me?
