Time, fragile construct
The past is done and I cannot go back
Self reflection, roots of regret


We′ve lost sight of who we are
Lost in a journey of departed memories
Leading into corridors covered in a dry haze
Severing all ties has lessened the burden
But, the wounds have yet to heal
They fester with regret

This gift was once in our grasp
I see it, but it is lost

There comes a moment in this tribulation
Where penance for the loss is due
Wander into the fog, the answer awaits to be found
This frail journey sings of victories and missteps
Time will drag us through
But, the wounds will never heal
