Get out of bed
Go brush my teeth
I shave my face
But the blade dug in
I watch the blood
Fall to the sink

I didn't feel a thing

Then the water turned a lazy shade of pink
My eyes rolled back
The room began to spin
I felt like I was in a dream
With blue sky, glossy magazines
I wish someone would help me
Pinch my skin to reality


Walk down the stairs
To my kitchen
I eat the fruit
With less sugar in
Turn on the tube
On my TV
There′s just too much
Too much choice for me

So I opened up the window for some air
My head went back
My brains fell everywhere
And I just can't help living strange
These lonely nights and smoke ring days
I wish someone would help me
Pinch my skin to reality
