Iron/flesh divide
In the fabric that He tied
Long for wine-ridden robe to store me
Weaken tethered lie
Tying us to severed line
Hardened hearts forming as an army

Shattered broken bones
Once belonging to the unknown
Finally got a name and buried
Sinking in the sea
Boat gets taken by enemies
I dive in, escaping to the bottom

I choke on words of rope weaving into your ears
Eyes looking out from under the torn ends
