Glass Menagerie she called it
Yet no one thought twice of her delicate heart
She would look in the sky wondering what was out there
For the rest was untold


She never came back
Where did she go?
Was it to your heart made of fool's gold?
We will never know

I want to hold her at dawn
For the innocence seems far gone
Icicles fall instead of morning mist
I hope she comes back in the morning

Eyes with a nocturnal gaze
Now I only feel the nightfall
She would chase a dream while everyone stopped and stared
Everything is plane without her sweet face
Who was she really?
We will never know
