When we wearing sweaters and coats
And yet it's that time when the warmth can be felt the most
That time when we reflecting on the miracles
And that time when I reflect in the mirror up close, like
If I look inside, I realize what I have
Gave a side eye, been a while since I had
Appreciation for everything that He made for me
All the wonders He performs, I acknowledge gratefully
Nissim v′niflaos on display
He gave us the strength to pursue many sudden challenges coming our way
And He still does, to this day
Something to commemorate, right?
How could we not
And so we got these eight lights
As a reminder through the ride to always hang tight
Forget what they might say
The oil might've lasted eight days
But they will never erase our flame, no, no, no

The world out there is a cold one
But we can make it warm, we the ones that are chosen
By bettering our middos, putting in that devotion
Or racing to the beis like when you just hit a home run
And we running home to make sure we light on time
Watching these flames, we can't lose sight
Of our potential to be a light for others
Not something to take lightly, brothers
You may ask
"How can we do this?" Ok, hands down
There′s so many ways, I can′t count
Just extend a hand, show some love and understanding
Like what you got when the latkes are ready, watch how it pans out
You'll see the darkness start to fade

It starts today

Bask in His glory and just immerse in it, let's go
