Milk & Grass Songtext

I′m getting older
Just like these blades of grass
Will they get shorter as I pass
If I stopped mowing how tall would it keep growing
Maybe these are questions I should ask
But only if and When I retire to my land of milk and grass

I'll wave to prairies as I pass
Leaving homeless fairies in my path
Before this imagination gets revved up and going
I should get to finally knowing
How many tanks of gas will it take to keep me
From showing any signs of aging
As a world in ruin revolves around me and my programming

I′m getting older
Just like these blades of grass
Will they get shorter as I pass
If I stopped mowing how tall would it keep growing
Maybe these are questions I should ask
But only if and When I retire to my land of milk and grass

Questions couldn't hurt
When you know your soul is trapped earth
Let's lay out problems in the fields
Find meaning in our feels
Once we can all honestly say
We are honest
Will we be prepared for our most honored
Our most honest purpose
A true integrated universal being
Say Au revoir to material things

I′m getting older
Just like these blades of grass
Will they get shorter as I pass
If I stopped mowing how tall would it keep growing
Maybe these are questions I should ask
But only if and When I retire to my land of milk and grass
