I wrote a letter today to Momma
And I addressed it to the Valley of Peace
′Cause I figure if Momma is in
Heaven that's just Where her mansion might be
I told her how deeply I loved her
And I sealed it with the
Tears rolling down my cheeks
I put a stamp in the right hand corner
And I mailed it in the mailbox
Down the street
We all have appointments in
Glory one by one we Gotta meet
My Savior we all call Jesus
The man with the hand from Galilee
I know they have air mail in
Heaven still today
And I′m sure they still have knee mail
Beyond those pearly gates
I wear a cross around my neck nowadays
Just as a constant 'minder


I may not know the day or the hour
But I'm gonna meet Momma
Again one day
In my mind I can see
Momma walking
Yeah
She′s walking on the streets
Paved of gold
With the mansion she′s always wanted
Down by the lake Out on the shore
She has all the pleasures of Heaven
All the pleasures that Heaven has to gain
No more sickness
No more worries
No more hunger
No more pain
No more wars
No more sinners
All of the pleasures
