Felt it coming on
Half dead and sunk in dreams
Of a watercolour sun
I felt the shape of my room change
I felt my head hit the floor


Woke up in the middle of the night
Noticed something wrong
Dropped dead into a dream
Of a watercolour sun
I felt the shape of the world change
I felt its smoke in my pores
I felt the looming burn of high acidity
I had been here before

Sun pierced through the middle of my back
Cracked between the blades
New forms and hollow bones
Breaking through the skin
I felt the shape of my heart change
My pupils split into four,
And as my teeth fell out, I lost the will to speak
Somehow I needed this more.
