Trapped in this tragic looping epilogue
Wade through the filth knee deep
The footprints filled with tears
Which of us have crossed the line?
Everything is like seen through ice
Everything will be fine
And everyone is lying

The consequences of
What they′re aiming for
Through the fire and anguish
To wear the cape
Of a poetic hero
At the expense of everyone else

No more is sorrow guiding our hands

The moral high ground
Stays exactly the same
