Mama left me a basket full of goods
And so I headed with my hood on down the lane
Told me to be weary
Always keep a lookout deary
Never know who′s lurking for their gain
And so I kept my head held high
It's never a good day to die
And I don′t wanna see my 'ma in pain
Up and onward off I went
Feeling somewhat confident
That I could get to grandma's with my grain

Because you see
Obviously
I′m nothing but a fickle little girl
But I′m about to take over the world


Went on walking it seemed to get quite cold
And that means so I've been told he′s on his way
He showed up standing tall
Asking me who he could call
To get his hands on some of my display
And so I kept my head held high
It's never a good day to lie
And I wanted to move on with my day
Told him he could follow me
′Cause if I recall properly
That Tuesday's are when grandma roasts the strays

I′m nothing but a fickle little girl
But I'm about to take over the world

He kept on talking about the girls who broke his heart
And how they never knew the part of him that shined
I thought to myself he probably left it on a shelf
'Cause that wolf ain′t been known to be too kind
And so I kept my head held high
It′s never a good day to try
To change a known cold-blooded mastermind
Told him just to wait right here
While I could finally disappear
Ain't no way I′d be the next in line

Got to grandma's sweating tears and blood
And I was soaking in the mud up to my knees
He was waiting for me by the kitchen door
Had grandma tied up on the floor begging "please"
And so I kept my head held high
It′s never a good day to buy
Into a trap from sneaky wolves like these
But little did ole wolfy know
I had some old tricks of my own
Including one special delivery
